We go for the ultrasound on June 18th. I will post anything worth noting after it is done! After the ultrasound we are going to go register for gifts at Target and Walmart and probably on Amazon.com since there are some books that I would want for the baby that I cannot find at those other stores. I have had this happen to me twice in the last year. I have run into people that I went to High School with and I have no idea who they are, but then recognize me...I feel so bad about it because I have no idea who they are until they tell me their name. It seems like everyone I know that has been pregnant or is currently pregnant finds out what the sex of their baby is going to be before s/he is born! Grant and I seem to be the only people who DON'T want to know! A dying breed I guess. I GOT A RAISE! yay! I have increased my salary by 30% since I started in December of 2004. That's pretty good I think :) Plus I get atleast one Christmas bonus and possibly another one if we win a big case (like 2mths ago) I got a $1000 bonus for my hardwork on a case. Grant and I go to our 16 week doctor's appt today. I don't know if they do anything different than last time. All the did last time was do a blood pressure, listen to the heartbeat, and a weigh it (eek!) I think that the ultrasound will be done at week 20, so probably sometime in June. It was such a gorgeous weekend! It was in the 70s on Saturday and 80 yesterday. I went to my friends house for a little party for her husband out in Marengo (about an hour away). We heard the heartbeat on Weds...it was very quick and almost sounds like a horse galloping. It is still kind of strange to believe that something is living inside me! We pretty much have monthly appointments during the second trimester. We go back on May 4th. I think they will do the ultrasound in June sometime, but I am not sure ( Read more... )
