Lights In The Sky

The Powerbook made it at least to Memphis today, unfortunately it did not make it here. Therefore, I believe I will have to wait until Tuesday to get it, even though it only took 2 days to get from China to Memphis, because fedex doesn't deliver Ground on Sunday or Monday according to their site. Maybe I'll score and get it on Monday, but I ( Read more... )

"I think I'm addicted to the computer."

haha...i don't think, i know i am. but then again, that is my major so i guess it was only a matter of time.

once again...powerbook. le sigh. enjoy it for me! my dream is to have an ipod (a real one, none of this mini stuff) and a 17" powerbook. until then, i will live through those who have them and hope my good ole hewlett packard holds out a while longer. :)

"my dream is to have an ipod (a real one, none of this mini stuff) and a 17" powerbook"

Clearly we have different taste in technology, while it seems you opt for the biggest of the big, I tend to opt for the smallest of the small (I'll have you know my Ipod is mini.. and green.. oh and waaay hotter than those normal Ipods.. and my powerbook is a sweet 12") Freud would say that perhaps you are compensating ;P If we got married and were sitting in an airport next to each other working on our powerbooks people would think you were the dominant overbearing element in the relationship.. what would that make me.. probably somewhere along the lines of the "bitch" so to speak :P I'm sick.. forgive me for my ranting :/

well see, i like the mini ipods...very cute. one of my bestest friends has one. and yes, i know you have a green mini one. but why not pay 50 bucks more and get tons more music?

and the 17"...cause i'm a graphic design major and 12" simply would not cut it. :)

oh and if we were married and sitting next to each other in the airport...reminds me of that old powerbook commercial. where the lil guy has the 17 incher and the big tall guy has the lil 12. haha.

sorry you're sick...i'm just getting over that junk myself.

:) you dont pay 50 bucks more because the minis are just waaaay cooler :P Although I suppose if you must carry 20GB/40GB of music, then the full version is better.. I myself haven't even filled up half of my mini, but I'm also really selective in terms of the music I carry with me.. I tend to listen to the same songs over and over again pretty consistently :P Ah, and I can see the Graphic Design factor of the 17"er :) I believe my friend Robb and Chris who were actually my inspiration in terms of getting a powerbook have 17 inchers and they have their share of experience in the field... Thanks for the well wishes, I'm already starting to feel better :)
