I applied to hot topic..

So I was bored the other day so I applied to hot topic.. not that I really want a job.. I'm doing fine at the moment.. but I have this "idea" that requires the aquisition of some "expensive materials." On top of that, at some point I need to buy my own Canon Digital SLR and the 20D's looking pretty good for what I need.. although I've also ( Read more... )

Jason, you're spectacular.
^_^
and that was random, but it's true.. and yay for a possible hot topic job?.. well.. I should probably say just whatever attempts you happen to make for some money..
:)
Since you seem more interested in money than the job.. but it works, too..
<3

I was all wanting to leave you a random message on myspace yesterday, but it didn't work..
Either way.. *luffs*
XD
I am really glad that your photography thing is working out for you, though. :)
That and your lu lu girly. ^_^
Adorgitable, indeed.

That testicle thing is fake.. in America anyway. You can sell one in China or some country like that for about $3000. But I actually think it is for some guy to eat, so yeah.. you don't want to do that.

Actually in some cultures human testicles are used to make different types of "potions" ranging from youth rejuvenating potions to fertility potions. These potions can sell for as much as 500 bucks an ounce making the production of them quite a profitable business and it is possible for one to get a few thousand bucks for their
testicle(s).

Nice try with the cannabalism bit though.

I never claimed to know where or why really.

I'm just sick of hearing that (insert hospital here) is buying testicles for (insert anywhere from $5000 - $100,000) for transplants (or something as equally retarded.

They don't transplant testicles! You lose one, it's gone.. they may give you a marble, but you don't get someone else's testicle.

I want the 20 D too. alas, my budget cannot allow such a techno-gadget yet. I will be content with my 5 megapixel point and shoot until at least this time next year. the 17 megapixel beast would indeed be that cat's pajamas. However, 8,000 dollars I am afraid I will never have lying aroun. Incidentally I also want a big expensive panoramic camera, which I also can not afford. Sigh.

I love my 20D. At the same time I bought that, I got a Elan 7ne 35mm body, and I have used it only a few times sadly. I'm loving the digital I bought.. especially with my new printer.

Hot topic? Oh dear. If you do work there I hope you get a discount, so then maybe merchandise won't be quite so horrifically expensive. And you better share the wealth with friends :P

Do you mean give blood as in just donate it or sell it? Cause I'm pretty sure you can't sell blood, only plasma. I could be wrong though. But if you can't donate blood because of being in Germany I assume plasma won't be any different.

I think the discount is 40%.. imagine.. that combined with the double discounts that they sometime had.. My gf used to work there and got like 60 dollar pants for like 4 or 5 bucks on those days.. now thats the stuff I'm talkin' about :P

You CAN sell your blood. The Red Cross takes donations, but there are places like the Interstate Blood Bank that buy your blood and resell it to the hospitals at a profit. You get more money for your plasma, mainly because you can do that twice a week instead of every 2 months, and I am pretty sure you can't do both. I am not sure of the living in Germany thing on the plasma either, but I too would suspect it is the same.
