I'll be in Austin this weekend for a meeting on Sunday, but I arrive Friday night. Any ideas on what a Chicago boy can do?

I started this new job on Monday. I'm working for a company that processes credit cards for small to medium sized businesses. I'm in the sales department, dressed casually (I'm currently wearing shorts and an old COD Program Board t-shirt), maiking phone calls and actually enjoying my job. It's temp-to-hire. Well, I went to the interview. Did Okay. Got sent to a group interview for the same job that night. Got called in for a one-on-one interview the next day. Didn't get the job. not sure why. I'm now trying for another location as it's the best paying thing I think I'll find ( Read more... )
