Today I did what I've dreamed of doing since I got a certain Super Nintendo game as a present a decade ago. I beat Final Fantasy III on my computer via the emulator. Things are moving along. I have two exams next week and a German essay to correct but overall I'm almost done. I'm still up in the air about where I'll be interning this summer. All I know is when I'm supposed to show up (not even where, just when) in Virginia.

Blah... I'm trying to slow down time to enjoy Iowa City for the week.

My mom called today. Her dad, who has been slipping health-wise for the past couple years, is doing very bad. Apparently it is more likely than not that he will die within a matter of days.
