Well, my time as a straight consultant with TekSystems/CSC is about to end. I got an offer from IBM! Yep. I'll be starting in a couple of weeks. For the short term, it will mean travel. I'll be working on a DoD project at the Pentagon. The work sounds like it will be interesting, I'll be making more money (sadly, not as much as I did in ( Read more... )

Mom told me about the new job - congratulations Mr. Senior Consultant!!! That's so awesome, you must be happy to have full benefits again. Sounds like you have the travel issues worked out pretty well, too. Good luck!

Oooh, a new iBook. :) I've decided that whenever I next have money for a new desktop, I'm getting the Mini Mac. Eventually I want an iBook, too, of course, but my laptop is still functioning pretty well, so that can wait.
