I've been sick for 2 weeks with a severe cold and bronchitis. Thankfully, I can talk again and it's all just about gone. Anywho, that's not why I'm here.

I've somehow got myself back onto a lesbian film kick. In the last 3 days I have watched the following movies:

Oh, man. Go Fish is SO TERRIBLE. I would've warned you away from that if I'd known! I feel like I have failed you as a big brother. My apologies.

OMG WHAT HOW HAVE YOU NOT SEEN THAT. Why didn't I make you watch it when you visited? Weren't we going to and we just ran out of time? I think that's what happened. Holy crap. Well, um, you will kind of love it aside from the absolutely absurd acting and dialogue. First 22 minutes is a cheesy lesbian flick, the last hour is a great mob movie. Two very different films kind of thrown together. Enjoy!

We were going to watch it and we did run out of time, but given that the week I spent at your place was the most amazing week of my life, I'm sure I can overlook that :-P

Ahh, that's right. I was so braindead at the time, I can't remember the specifics of that last night. Jewel could've walked in the room and groped me, and I wouldn't know it now. (...did that happen?)

Your comment made me smile. By the way, your birthday present has been long in the works and is going to take another month or so to complete (plus, mail to you). Apologies for the lateness, but hopefully it'll be worth it. :-)

And you know you really didn't have to get/do/make anything for my birthday! I didn't get you anything (hell I didn't even remember yours - now I feel like even MORE of a douchebag), and I know mailing costs to Australia are insane.

I do, however, really, really appreciate it. I was a little disheartened by the fact that I had been trying to organise something for a couple months and everybody else kept putting it off, and now the extent of my plans are going out for dinner. So I really do appreciate it, considering you're the furthest away from me and seemingly the only one who has bothered to make an effort. I miss you.

Oh sweet. I've been on a gay coming out/coming of age film kick lately, but mostly sticking to the dudes. Netflix keeps recommending "Show Me Love" to me but I remember hating it. Maybe it's my aversion to Scandinavians though.
Have you seen Tipping the Velvet? I have SUCH a crush on the lead, omg. Hot as a girl AND hot as a boy... Plus that thing I have for 19th cent. London...
Also have you seen Venus Boyz???
