So I was listening to NPR today on my drive to an interview Terry Gross was having with a U.S. soldier / platoon leader that had served in Iraq. He was talking candidly about his experiences there. Crazy accusation, right? Unfortunately, you won't hear honest conversations like the one you describe on cable or other commercial media because their sponsors don't want to risk offending the "patriots" or awakening the sleeping masses. The reason the masses don't rise up and protest is because the radio and TV they consume do not give them enough information to motivate them to action ( ... )

It is all about the Benjamin's. It was conceived to make money for .. it has made incredible profits for a few who are sure to fend off anyone who threatens them and their profits. The only controls available to outsiders (us) is congressional funding. Very little of the cost of the war is reviewable as it is being financed by overseas bondholders (japan/china).Stop the money and the war goes away.

Wow, it's a small world. You have the El Paso vibe about you. I should have known.

I would love to do some swing/salsa with you. In fact, I'm going to arrange a salsa night with a bunch of my girlfriends and I'd love to out and do it with you first so I know what I'm doing. The last two digits of my phone number are 43 and my email is jsrussell at jenitech dot com.
