I think it would be fantastic if we get a little more cannon background, but I don't get totally Jossed. I feel like TPTB aren't going to go into a long wandering anthropological study designed to support the tremedously angst filled current sex life that Ronon is having on Atlantis. (I wonder what's up with that.) So I'm probably safe there.

I'm hoping they'll focus on action-shots...Ronon fighting the Wraith, maybe the betrayal by Kell, the beginning of the reason the Wraith couldn't/didn't feed from him, some random girl to kiss to "prove" he is straight.

What I really hope we DON'T see is his home life. It's Sharya and the rest of Ronon's family who I don't want to see Killed by Cannon.

Ronon took issue with the way the girls of their Society were automatically privileged, taught how to care for and raise a child, promoted by nothing but their first bleeding. Sharya held (as she always had) that girls were just naturally smarter, or at least more mature than boys - but every time he saw the door of the creche, Ronon thought resentfully that his big hands would do better cradling a defenseless baby than Sharya's skinny arms and flighty manner could ever manage.

I just love reading this 'verse. It puts a whole new perspective on culture and gender.
