When Ronon was 9 years old, he was quite sure that he wanted to be a tooth medic. He himself had strong, even, white teeth, with never a cavity - and he looked forward to the semi-annual trips into the heart of the city with his Home Mother and whichever sister needed a check-up as well. He would sit in the medic's special chair with the light shining onto his face like a personal sun, and open his mouth WIDE. He could roar with his mouth open like that, in a way that he privately felt rivaled the cave lions they would visit in the City Reserve later in the afternoon

You know, I don't think Atlantis HAS a dentist, though I doubt anyone would be brave enough to face Ronon with a whirling drill in his hand.

Heee. I love how you got him to be a believable little kid.

Also, some time Ronon must mention that he wanted to be a dentist when he grew up, just so all the Earthlings can give him sideways looks.

What's going to be REALLY fantastic is when he sees the Atlantis Community Theater Production of Little Shop of Horrors, and hears the Dentist song!
