Who here knows how to get a cake out of a pyrex pan for decorating?

Should I wait for it to cool?

Right now it's upside-down sitting on my oven mitts, and it won't drop onto the cookie sheet... the bottom is stuck to the pyrex. I used cooking spray and flour before putting the cake mix in...

EDIT: nevermind... i ruined it. :'(

yeah i always let them cool. they firm up a bit once they cool and theres less of a chance of breaking. i think.

it looks like i can salvage it... it was in three big pieces and one small one... they fit together just fine, so I guess I'll hide the cracks with frosting.

The more frosting, the better the cake! (I like frosting)

Also... I cannot find your address. I thought I had it, but I guess I don't. Where am I mailing this fur to? IM or e-mail me it, or something. Maybe e-mail, so I have a copy if I need it again.

sent.

I used the whole can of frosting... I'm very much not a frosting person... but hey, whatever it takes to fix the cake.

Awesome party at chuck e cheese. Though chuck's eye kept twitching... i wonder if his appreciation of children has stared to wane... or if maybe he was feeling guilty about something... I didn't ask him... he always seemed busy singing, or sleeping on the stage... standing up, no less. o.O
