We've got something like that in our country as well, but it's somewhen in the autumn (if I don't count the end of WW II). Instead, we've got public holiday on both the 5th and 6th of July. Nice, isn't it?

Well, it's more of a historical post (singular). I liked history at high school, even if I often got the dates a bit scrambled.
Thanks for your enthusiasm, though you're probably the only one who reads my LJ.
