Stevie Wonder rocks out on Sesame Street. Includes an extended jam at the end, special lyrics, 70's attire, and dancing kids on fire escapes. What's not to like?

Yes, that was indeed cool. And he slipped in the word "sing that Sesame Street song" too!
I remember seeing Paul Simon for the first time on that show. Sitting on the steps with some kids singing, I think, "Me and Julio Down by the School Yard". I became a fan just based on that.

What kinds of mysic does your little guys like?

I might have seen that Paul Simon bit! Or, maybe he was on the Muppet Show -- another cool kids' show with some pretty amazing guest artists.

My dad once interviewed Paul Simon, back when they were both at Tanglewood in the late 60s. Apparently Paul was very well-educated musically, and took in a lot of classical concerts.

Matthew likes just about any kind of music with a good beat and/or a nice singing voice. Doesn't like noisy dissonant stuff, not surprisingly. I want to expose him to a lot of music and dancing early on, to prime those neural circuits for lots of music fun in later life!
