Our company has holiday parties at Landsdowne. So that should tell you something... Tara and I pretty much make an appearance, eat and run like hell.

Robin indicated that in previous years and similar events (no charge, no visible tip jars) patrons tipped the bartenders even when bartenders were instructed not to take them.

The agency that I worked for advertised "estate homes" at Landsdowne. I've seen their floorplans. They are obscene faux-luxury McMansions of the highest order. Italian cabinets and marble floors don't help the actual value of the home. They're prolly all underwater on their mortgages if that helps. ;) Also, of all the traits that Americans have possessed, a little class has rarely been one of them!

I believe that the Prophet said "don't tell me how educated you are, tell me how far you've traveled."?
