20 years of my life and I've never had such a big fight with my father until 5 minutes ago. He's always been a man with very few words, but whenever he does say something, he's either very wise or just plain unreasonable. We hardly talk, simply because I understand my personal abrasive manner and I'm usually cautious, just in case I ever agitated

Aww candice ;__; ty so much, just you taking the effort to comment on this is enough to make me feel better. ♥

I'm not really close with my dad, I think we don't have alot of topics to share but we do talk when we go out as a family, have dinner, etc. I had a talk with a friend earlier today and she was probably right. She told me that fathers who're usually quiet would tend to spit out hurtful words or the past that happened ages ago to show us how unhappy they are.... like, suddenly. I think that's my dad. Maybe it's just his crazy mood swings, idk but I hope he isn't mad at me anymore :(

I still don't think I'm in the wrong, but I've realised that certain unwanted incidents can be avoided if I try a little harder.

aww bb, i don't really know what to say to make you feel better. but your dad probably doesn't realise how much his words hurt you? sometimes our words trigger emotions off without us even realising what's wrong. hope you're feeling better already. ♥ /hugs

It's alright bb, I'm feeling alot better now really. I don't think my dad is aware of how emotional I can be sometimes, I've never cried in front of him ever since... lol idek, long long ago. So he must be assuming that I'm a don't-care-about-anything type of person, or that I don't listen to what he says.

I hope I get to explain better when he decides to listen and when we're less awkward lol.
