Envy me, all.  Because the show was fricking incredible and amazing and reaffirms to me all the reasons why indie rock is worth all the sleepless nights, in the end.

...Okay, okay, I'll back up a bit and explain that last comment, I suppose...going to a show invariably means that I get five or so fewer hours to work on school

Very cool, sounds like an awesome time. I'll have to check these guys out now. So do you think Perfect From Now On and You In Reverse are good albums to start with?

You in Reverse is good for the fact that it has "Goin' Against Your Mind" on it...their absolute best would probably be Keep It Like A Secret, though.

Just finished listening to You In Reverse, and spun Perfect From Now On and Keep It Like A Secret earlier. I don't think first impressions are very reliable in the long run, but by the time I was almost done with the newest one, I felt that I liked it best. They write really well, and push their instruments to form great orchestral sounds. Very nice band indeed.

I'm having sort of a vague Halloween shindig on Friday 26th, do you think you can make it out? It won't be quite as elaborate as in years past, but I think it's really important for us to get together to keep up the tradition and whatnot. X3 So, just let me know here, email, phone, whatever. ^^

Sounds good! Hopefully I won't have work, but as soon as I find out my schedule, I'll let you know! ^^ And I completely agree about it being important...O_o Sad thing is, I haven't even THOUGHT about costumes yet, and time is running out...^^;;;
