Ok well I wish I would have listened to a friend of mine who told me I was a dumb-ass one for leaving UPS and then for joining the army I told her oh I know what I'm doing don't worry about it, well turns out she was right and she doesn't let me forget it. Oh well life is a learning experience. So congress is trying to make it so the reserve army

kiddo, you are gaining some experience that us college geeks will never get. don't ever regret your decisions in life, okay? I think you're a hero for going over there, we need more guys like you doing that. we need more guys like you period, seriously. I miss you soo much and can't wait for you to come back, but don't worry about missing out on college because you'll come back older and wiser and get more out of it than any of us could because you have the experience of fighting for your country and truly learning about the wicked ways of the world. I would say that experience gives you a lot of potential to change the world, heck you could run for president: you're a hell of a lot smarter than our current one and you have a lot more REAL military experience too. Anyway, I love you and will try to remember to send you some mail soon.

Hey Trav, just wanted to drop you a quick note to say that we're all missing you stateside and thinking good thoughts. This may be an incredibly stupid and naive thing to say, but I'm really proud of you. I'm not proud of what we're doing in Iraq nor of the president and the political side of events there. Nope. Just in awe of you, I suppose. It takes a lot of courage to be where you are and for that you have my utmost respect. So, for what its worth, I luv you trav.
If there's anything we can do for yah, let us know ok? And remember that when you get back, hopefully soon - REALLY soon, you've got nothing but opportunities and good friends awaiting. =)
