they got that setup behind my old church (if that's not where you were). i've also seen a child daycare center next to a cemetary, as well as a nursing home next to one.
in utah there was one at the fair grounds, they didn't have a fence or wall to block it off either. but we didn't really go near it - i think it was all the fierce mormonism fear that protected it. they also had inactive torpedoes around it to prevent anything from being uncovered in a heavy rain. i've seen the cemetary/retirement home thing, but that made sense to me somehow. mebbe the concept of cemetary/playground must be some fucked-up mid-west thing that i can't comprehend since i didn't live here when i was young enough.
