Yes, yes, it's been awhile. I'm well aware of my not having posted in nearly a month. So what have I been up to, you ask? Well life has been pretty damn spiffy. I think I'm honestly a little concert-ed out lately. Ladytron, Placebo/SWR, and Heavens will be it for a while.

You can TOTALLY pass the Spanish I and II exams, by the way...or so I imagine. I mean, shit, I relied only on what I learned in high school, and I still got A's.

Even though it still pisses me off that I have to take language classes ALL OVER AGAIN even though I already did the work 3 years ago...and that somehow it manages to be too much work.

Yeah, I'm gonna do the other two exams next quarter. I know exactly what you mean by the deja-vu, but I definitely need the refresher.

I'm sorry to hear Cobra Starship was underwhelming. I hope Ladytron/Cansei De Ser Sexy makes up for it. They both put on an amazing show, so don't lose faith in concerts just yet.

Eh. I've been a Sufjan fan for all of a week, having been convinced that he has a couple of amazing songs. And like, a hundred songs that are really boring "oh-I'm-so-indie" pretentious loads of poopyness.

Still, I really wanted to go, just to see him play "Majesty Snowbird".

I think I am planning on going to go to the Halloween thing. Do you think it's going to sell out?

It hasn't sold out yet. You can get the Tix at Raley's and avoid the internet surcharge. If you go then I'll definitely go. Are you gonna dress up?

i'm not particularly thrilled by sufjan's music... but there's this shirt i TOTALLY want that says "come on feel the illinoise" with the outline of the state on it.
so conflicted! not a fan, want his shirt... but pretty much only because i now live in illinois so i think that's funny....
...today i like ellipses....

I'd still find that shirt clever if it wasn't on every goddamn hipster when I went with my sister to the Pitchfork fest in Chicago... not that this was surprising in any sort of way. Although, I'd be fine if you wore it since you're not even a Sufjan fan- as long as you mention that to everyone that walks up to you wanting to talk about how amazing they think his music is. :) That's my only stipulation.
