Welcome to JUBILANCES!, a little corner of the internet dedicated to happiness. Yes, that's right! Home-grown happiness, just like your mother used to make. ...Foregoing all of the cheesy advertising, we're really very earnest about our goal. It's simple: make as many people happy as possible. How do we do that? That's almost, if possible, simpler.

In a nutshell, we all want to start the new year off right, even if that means getting a little jump-start at the end of 2008. This is a public community dedicated to that very purpose. At your freedom and discretion, whenever you have anything positive, silly, memorable, or sweet to say or share or show, you post it right here. Think of it as a memory archive, a little investment for when you have those rainy day blues and would like something to cheer you up.

So what can you post?
Just about anything, really. But here are a few suggestions, just in case.
❶ Inspirational quotes.
➋ Images, macros, memes, or videos that made you smile or laugh.
➌ Pep talks (soapboxing, if you will).
➍ A good personal memory, or your hopes and dreams for the future.
➎ A shout-out to someone who hasn't had the best day.
➏ A shout-out to someone who made your day.
➐ Anything else you could possibly think of.

Easy, right? Of course, we aren't an extremely rule-driven community--we want everything to run as smoothly and naturally as possible. At the same time, there are a couple of guidelines to take note of. Please take them seriously.
❶ Obviously, we're trying to cheer people up, not bring them down. Please refrain from wank and keep all personal conflicts just that. Please report all violations to belius.
➋ If you're going to post something nsfw, please put it under a cut and tag it appropriately.
➌ Images larger than 300x300px and number more than two should also be put under a cut.
➍ You may choose to lock your entries to members only, but this is not mandatory.
➎ Commenting and dialogue are encouraged. ♥

If you have further questions, feel free to ask here!
