She looks really gorgeous <3
I like the third picture - she really looks alive there.
And Mordec's white hand on her dark skin... fabulous *___*

Thank you <3 and I agree! I think her liveliness has something to do with her tan as well. Because of the layering spray effect on her face, you get this..less smooth surface. More like skin, which I really love.

Yeah!! Creepy, possessive Mordec. O_O xD

I love Mordec (maybe because he's so possesive) and I always have to think about Mordecai in the tale of King Arthur when I reah his name xd

You know, on second thought, I don't think Mordec is really that possessive. Or..maybe he is, but it's just different because his wives really just are his. It's not really comparable to anything realistic I think, because that world is so different, especially his part of the underworld. He doesn't know anything else than that he is the ruler there.
Il Delagrand on the other hand (Ila's father) is possessive. He thinks he owns his children, which isn't healthy for them at all.

Also, funny thing, Mordec's older brother is actually called Mordecai. He is owned by Imoel; http://imoel.livejournal.com/tag/mordecai
She also has some awesome background info with the two shoots she has posted.

I love veils as well! I don't know how I ever came to that, all I really remember is that the whole story started with a drawing, when I was really depressed, about 4 years ago. It was of Mordec - whom I didn't know by name or anything - and Dahlia, who was dying. Around a cloaked and masked Mordec were other souls, all with veils, and one of them was softly laying a veil on her as well, while Mordec stood behind her.
Kind of weird to think everything I have of them now once came from that random drawing.

And nope, there isn't really a reason. She's just tanned. I don't really actively create my characters or their appearance. They kind of do that naturally. Sometimes I kind of wish she wasn't tanned to save me all the hassle of airbrushing her. xD

Thanks! <3

It is indeed a peaceful image, on itself. But with all the other details behind it, less. Mordec's Realm is solely for souls that have taken their own life, and are therefore not returning to the world like they would otherwise, since they have shown that their soul is too weak. They will lose every memory and stay forever under Mordec's care. (For all I know, Dahlia might be a very, very old soul by now, that lived way in the past, which I find an interesting thought)There are great halls in his realm, with ceilings so high you think you can not see the end, where those souls dwell, forgotten. It is peaceful there, yet a earie kind of peaceful, I think. Because most of them somehow have a subconscious recollection of something that is missing, yet they do not know what. At least Dahlia had that, don't know about the rest exactly. I don't know that very much except what she knew. xD ( ... )
