I always love reading your posts, your transparency is appreciated. I've been having to learn to withhold on things since we have a tighter budget these days. But it's been good to realize I never needed those things in the first place, and just how much "stuff" I've spent money on that have all been petty and useless. It's so weird how it can become this crazy habit. I've been finding that I feel better and more secure now with less money than with more - and by more I really mean a credit card. I got rid of my credit cards a few months ago and it's actually been a good thing

i was reading part of a paragraph from an article the other day about a guy who decided to never own more than 100 individual items at a time (a pair of pants = 1 item even though they are called a pair, same with socks and underwear)

I think this post is the most transparent I have ever seen you (on Live journal anyways) I liked it:) And I know EXACTLY how you feel......when I left Nordstrom I was about to snap. I couldn't handle all of the shallow faces anymore. It's so interesting how you can get SO caught up in all the materialistic CRAP. I certainly did.
