Recently Computerworld has done two interviews with "Microsoft's Linux strategist" (Last Thursday, Monday). Outside of spouting various FUD related quotes and saying SuSE is better than Red Hat there was nothing relevant to the interviews ( Read more... )

No Linux zealot am I, but they are rightly concerned. THe relative market share of Linux may be small compared to Windows, but (unlike, say, Apple) its share is continuiously growing. They are seeing the software adapt more and more into a viable option for home PC use and at the corporate workstation level (especially as other open source projects, such as Firefox and OpenOffice, also evolve into viable options). And we all know that Microsoft's share of the server market is continuously threatened by Linux at an even faster rate.
