So, hilariously enough, I actually watched the movie version of that horrible vampire book.

...and surprisingly enough, it wasn't as bad as the novel.

For one thing, the movie version eradicates the original author's painful abuse of adjectives (e.g., "sparkling," "dazzling," and "beautiful," all of which are used approximately 4,687,597 times EACH ( Read more... )

I knew a guy in rez, who oddly was in my film class, who has a really weird personality. He was a good guy once you got to know him but he had some really creepy habits. One such habit occurred when another friend of mine (this time a girl) fell asleep in a common area in residence. She woke up a while later to find him some ten feet away watching her sleep. Knowing him, his actions (ie. watching her sleep) were intended as completely harmless, but he still lacked the ability to register just how creepy that was...

On a more direct note, I haven't read the books but I did see the movie. Now, everytime I see Edward in the sun I think of Bart Simpson when he gets his ear pierced. 'Sparkle, Sparkle'.
