Well, there is a guy with a jet pack but the King of the Rocket-men isn't in it much and there's a bit where the someone states that he stole it from a dead body.

So, Cody got killed by Ignition City's corrupt marshal.

Oh man, heehee. Looking it up on Wikipedia reveals they used the same suit for most of their serials.
