Reading: Just finished Delia Sherman's The Magical Mirror of the Mermaid Queen, the sequel to Changeling (Think Neverwhere if you didn't bother with the normal world, it were NYC, and the protagonist were a young girl. Lots of fun.) Also started rpg Dark Aeons. Content is interesting thus far, and someone else has seconded my thought that the system could be used for a Dresden setting, but I want to shake whoever did this and say, "Get an editor!" Desolation road is one of my favourite books ever. You're in for a good time and i envy you the experience.

The not-really-sequel Ares Express I only found so-so though.

R: Almost done listening to Gormenghast (1 cd left), and then on to Titus Alone. Finished up The God Delusion last night. Moving on to some fantasy that's supposed to be like that Abercrombie stuff.

P: Maybe first camping trip with the kids, maybe not.

W: Green t-shirt, plaid overshirt, brown jeans.

W: A bit of story generator/solo rpg stuff, trying to at least get a sentence down each night on the war fantasy story.

Desolation Road? When yer done, I'd like to know what you think!
