Wow. We have great classical music in Looney Tunes, and music like this on Sesame Street and the Muppet Show.
My 13-yo son loves movie soundtracks (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Transformers), "Re: your brains", and other things we've brought into his life. Friends aren't a source of musical culture, yet.
