It doesn't make you a bitch at all. My husband felt ex-damn-zactly the same way when I was on bed rest during the last month of my last pregnancy.

I would love some bed rest right about now. Maybe even a couple of hours of it. Sign me up!

(hugs)

Don't clean the living room! I guess everything else on the list does have to happen though. :(

The living room is job #1. It's where all of the toys get thrown around. :)

You need to figure out what can be left undone. Living rooms will always need to be cleaned and laundry put away. Leaving it for a bit won't hurt anything.

The problem is that everything that gets left undone tonight will have to be done tomorrow or another day, and Wednesday and Thursday are my longer/late days at work, ugggggh.

I so hear you. When Shane *thinks* he might be getting sick, he shuts down. In the evenings I pick up the kids, fix dinner, do baths and jammies... all while he plays internets, does school work, or relaxes after an oh-so stressful day behind a desk.

I would have a hard time with that.

I try to blame him, but really the kids want me. They don't want him to do anything with them... they want me. I would love to say it's because they love me more, but it's because they know they can get away with more with me.

But still, every few weeks I break down, lose my cool, and let him deal with everything. In his defense, though, he does clean up the kitchen every night.

The kids tend to want me, too, but I still am a fan of the old "divide and conquer."
