i just realized that a lot of the bands i like now are because some guy i liked or dated got me into them. i guess that's cool. i just think that at first i liked those bands so i could have more in common with whatever guy i was into at the time. whatever, at least i was exposed to all those good bands. thanks guys!

I find that this happens a lot, and not just with significant others, but with friends as well. I know that my musical tastes have changed a lot over the years because of who I have been around. It's a good thing, to be exposed to new music that you wouldn't normally have an excuse to check out, it makes you more diverse.
