Rusty Cooking...

1) I was steaming some shanghai dragon buns: So I turned the temp. to MAX, poured some water into the pan, then topped it with some dragon buns that just came out of the freezer.... then went off to study for a bit.... then suddenly... "beep beep beep"... stupid alarm... i first thought.... like.. why would alarm go off when i'm just "steaming"

omg, 1) happened to me too! and i was such an idiot because i took the hot blackened plate to the sink and turned on cold water. then it exploded. well, it didn't exactly explode, but broke into tiny pieces! it was so freaky!
