[Regal is out just walking around and trying to acquaint himself with his new "home" when he spots a rather familiar head of red hair. Well, Tenebrae had said that Richter was here too... He doesn't seem to be hostile at the moment, but that doesn't mean Regal is going to let his guard down.]

I had been expecting our next meeting to be under somewhat different circumstances.

[Emil is used to Richter already being up when he wakes (as much as he hates to lose his bedwarmer while he's still asleep). He knows the other man is an early riser, and normally that doesn't bother him one bit; most of the time Richter is just in the next room when Emil comes stumbling out bleary-eyed. This time, however, there's no sign of him anywhere in the apartment, and with all of the recent kidnappings, Emil can't help but start to worry.]

[Well, guess who just got home? Richter was expecting Emil to still be sleeping, actually, so he thought his disappearance would've gone unnoticed. Apparently not.]
