John Hiatt - Perfectly Good Guitar

Day two of 30/30/30.  Went a bit outside my usual genre preferences today with John Hiatt, and after a few times through the album, I'm still not quite sure what to make of it.

How you can GUSH over Pearl Jam and be lukewarm on Hiatt is lost on me completely. Too sophisticated for a metal head, maybe?

I just couldn't really get into it. At the end of this experiment, I'll round up all the albums I don't like and listen to them again.

I would recommend listening to Master of Disaster if you didn't like PGG, his sound has definitely matured since the early nineties
