hey danny boy! yeah, the bar scene seems overrated to me - it's hot, stuffy, people are drunk (and people never make good decisions when they are drunk), it isn't good to meet people drunk, most of the guys (and girls surprisingly...) are there are looking for flings, people are obnoxious, drinks are expensive, and for me all the music sucks. I hate how the 'bar scene' is so glorified in movies and tv shows as some idealized sexy exciting place...it's such a disappointment to me now...
