I would love it. I can't take credit for the original idea, though. That belongs to Ithuriel's mun.

This one, however, would probably do far better in servitude than having his freedom. He's not all there, if you know what I mean.

Thankee. As I noted, I can't take credit for the original idea, but as I read Ithuriel's ficlet, the idea kept tickling me and I couldn't let it go. Finally I just had to do it, just to see what happens.

The auctioneer quirked an eyebrow. "Eight hundred thousand?" he echoed, squinting at the bidder. But hell, who was he to reject such an offer, particularly for this specimen.

With a final smack, he banged his gavel down on the wooden podium. "Sold!" He exhaled a breath as they began to shuffle the winged bastard off the stage. "And glad I am of it," he muttered to no one. But he gestured, and one of his lackeys came forward to take the necessary documents to the desk for the owner to claim.
