So Patty started with hiccups which progressed to excessive hiccups, gagging, snorking, nausea, licking everything, eating dust bunnies and general pommy misery. Appalled, I called my emergency vet who wondered if it was a trachea problem and advised taking her to Chicago Veterinary Emergency Services. Does she eat all her food in one sitting or does she graze all day? I ask because I had a similar problem when I had 2 cats. One would steal the others' food if he didn't finish it fast enough. In order to keep fat cat from getting the other cat's food, I had to separate them during feeding time. I put one in the laundry room and the other in the kitchen. I don't know if it is an option but it worked ok for us.

It is February! I've had to go ALL OF JANUARY without a Lance and Patty update!!!

*curls up in withdrawl* What happened? How is Patty? Where is Lance? What are you up to? Did you all take a Caribbean cruise? !
