Patty's home, or suspicious minds

I went to the hospital to pick up Patty and quizz Dr. B who I finally got on the phone today long enough for him to mention the infections and say she was ready to come home. When I got there Dr. B was gone but Dr. C was there. Dr. C has treated Patty the most. Dr. F will back tomorrow. (They seem to have a crazy staggered scheduling going on ( Read more... )

I bet Patty is OVERJOYED to be home. She probably thought she'd been dumped again. (Poor baby...)

Well, it's certainly a boon that they're comping all that care. Last time I had a dog at the vet overnight, it was over $400 (for one night). That was Floyd, back when he was having seizures (which have thankfully been absent for the past four years).

Did they make a mistake? Could be. But I'd give them the benefit of the doubt until you know.

I imagine the procedure was an enema.

I've got my fingers crossed that she'll be OK now.

Yay - glad she's home!

I'm with Elsa - wait til you know more before going into suspicious lawyer overdrive. (That way leads to madness and JFK conspiracy theories... Heh.)

I'm gonna go with this, mostly because you are a steady customer and well.. perhaps they didn't really have to do that much. Maybe you've earned bonus vet points or something. =)

That said the only time I've gotten free kitty care was when they mis-wrote a prescription (dog version instead of cat) and Dante ended up nearly keeping over. They paid for the emergency vet too. Which is not to say that they didn't anything wrong regarding Patty. My situation was a fluke - they've (the vet) been stellar since.

I'm glad she's home and hope she stays well and at home! =)

*hugs* to you and the doggies. It will be interesting to see what comes of all this. At least Patty is home and feeling a bit more herself.
