My friend and I are looking to purchasing an apartment building, refurbishing it and then, of course, moving in. We are not looking to run it as a business, but more as a safe house for Newcomers, and friends that wish to stay with us. We have a building in mind; however, there was extensive structural damage during a recent fire. I need advice on permits, inspections, and of course, the contract of sale itself.
