Most of them angsty. The vision from heaven? PAIN.
Learning what the angels thought of the black wings? PAIN AND TEARS.
I never once made the comparison between what Cas did to Balthazar to what Sam did to Cas. I mean, yes they are different but there is a similarity there. And I never saw it! Thanks for bringing that insight to me. It was one of those world-shifting moments for me.
Sam finally finding out what's been going through Dean's head, learning Dean's fear and why he's acting the way he is - I love it all. And Sam working through his own issues with Cas was good to see, too. One line I especially liked was when Sam was thinking even he could see that his form of justice looked a lot like revenge. I thought that was just kind of poetic and very Winchester.
I'm fairly certain this chapter made me want to hug every single character at least once. They all need them.
I love the idea of Cas being thought of as Lucifer Mark 2. At least he has his awesome big brothers to believe in him. The scene with Cas and God was so amazing. I cant put into words how much *feels* it caused. I want to give them all big hugs :X
Ugh this fic, it's angsty which bums me out because I'm not big on angst but I think it actually has the right amount of angst that is tempered with cuteness/adorableness. I was just thinking about it the other day too, wondering if I had missed a chapter. Glad I didn't! Also Sam is being so awesome. Whenever a fan writes Sam as this awesome dude who is proactive I find myself wondering how come the show can't do that for him? How come they can't make him intuitive and stuff? It makes me shake my fist at them in anger.
Everything with Dean and Cas is just lovely; I can't wait to find out what else happens. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for a happy ending!
Wow, what a nice surprise! I wasn't sure you'd continue this story and that would've been the biggest shame. It's brilliant! And so painful. Painfully brilliant.
