I’ve recently heard a story about a guy who robbed a bank and then, while being chased by the police, made a stop at the convenience store to buy some smokes. Not the sharpest crayon in the box, I’d say. He never got to open the pack though, as he was caught soon after. Poor bunny. I don’t know how true the story is, but on days like today I think

Well obviously he was very stressed after the bank robbery. Who wouldn't? When is a good time for a smoke if not in moments like this?

Right? And his (alleged) decency to pay for the pack just cracks me up. I'd say he earned that smoke. With his foolish bravado if nothing else.

And yeah, today's a whole new day. My wardrobe got richer of a new red dress for one thing. And I mean a DRESS which is all RED. I think it's a reasonable pick-me-up *is obscenely shallow and refuses to feel bad about it*
