Writer's Block: Banished to Space.
If I were in the business of banishing people then I would send them to an orbital prison colony where it is kill or be killed and the inmates have their own Lord of the Flies community. So I suspect that is where I would end up myself. You do not typically banish people to places that they like (or don't hate.)

Writer's Block: The only true question:
Which would I like to be?
Ninja. You can go out, do your ninjaing, be home on the weekends, sleep on your nice soft mat, get dental care, eat a balanced diet, and be able to avoid the inevitable pirate "booty call."
Plus, the pirate captain usually keeps most of the loot. A ninja is a free agent. Works for himself and reaps most of the reward.

I went to the library yesterday to get books for the creature. Found some interesting books. Dr. Seuss is very popular so only two were there and I happen to get the slightly racist one...
