I think I've figured out how to add pics to my LJ galleries. So you can all go see my cute fish! All that's left is to find names for them. Suggestions? The winner will get... ehm, I'll figure that out later, but nice price for the best names!

Does any of them have a black ring around their left eye? Because if it does, you could name it Kay *g*

No other ideas. The pics are cute, though :) And I like your house.

See ya,
Anna.

The real question is, are they male or female, or one of each? (They usually try to keep them both of one gender, I think, unless you've got the tank with the special equipment set up for breeding, or fish usually eat their own babies. :P) And if you don't know, which do you want 'em to be? *g* I have lots of girls' names, not so much boys'. I have at least 8 or 9 baby name books. :D

Ehm, am I supposed to know who Roger and Grace are/were?

But I do like Pinky and the Brain! :D

And there's always the obvious, Lois & Clark. *g*

Not at all, I just think Roger is an excellent fish name and Grace seems to suit it. *g*

But... Pinky and The Brain! Ingenius fish names!

Lois and Cla... oh my gosh, Superfish!!

Now would the slightly fatter one be Pinky or Brain? *g*

WOW! nice pics, home and fishes.

Names? er...Lois and Clark?

Problem is to tell which is which. They almost lookalike to me. OK, fish one could be Clark 'cause of the patch on its head and fish 2 Lois since it's curious enough to go see what's outside, coming extremely to the tank's end. PLus it likes flashes, attention, spotlight!

OK more fishy names: Bonnie and Clyde (no, I'm not LC obsessed), Tweety and Sylvester, chocolate and macaron (can you tell I need a fix?), L and J (farfetched), judo and mat (less farcfetched), sun and moon...Dory and Marlin (Disney fetched)!!

Depends on what you like really.

Random fish name picking: name them after the first two things you see from your window OR the two things you like the most.

LOL+TC,

Carole

I think you should consider changing the bowl. :P

If I remember correctly from the days when I used to have a goldfish, fishbowls should be avoided because the surface area is too small to ensure oxygen diffusion.

I might be wrong, but you'd better ask at the pet shop and see what they suggest.

I did some research after I bought the bowl and fish... I know, I should've done that first. But sometimes, I just get something in my head and I just need to get it straight away. Later on, I start thinking and do some research. Only to find out I was impulsive again.

You're right, El. It's actually even animal abuse. Apparantly, fish need more space than such a bowl. And bigger bowl/aquarium also means more oxygen. But I do my best to give them oxygen. They get a bit of fresh water each day, which I slowly pour into the bowl like a waterfall. This weather is also not helping. (Btw, how are you surviving this heath? *g*)

For next time, I'll get a bigger bowl. Or go for that cat after all.

And you know what the pet shop will say? It's okay, two fish in that bowl? No problem! Oxygen? No problem either, just keep it away from the sun. Guess they can sell more that way. :P
