About the trip...
I'm not sure I can help you, but I'll offer you some thoughts:
- Being around people. Actually, if your family's way of vacationing is anything like ours, there might be people all around, but in the end it's just your family you'll be spending time with. And you always say your family helps you get past depression point and feel better all in all. Plus, even if you go, you'll still have to spend some days without them, when you'll be back and they'll still be there...
- Food. I find it a little strange that you'd go to a restaurant and wouldn't find *anything* to it. There would surely be something, right?
Those point to 'go', but in the end I think the most important question to ask is: How do you feel about leaving home? You didn't mention anything on it. Do you think you'd enjoy being to a different place for a while, or is being home too convenient for you?
Hope I've helped a little!
See ya,
Anna.

I'm too tired to think straight now, but I hope that whatever you decide on the trip thing, that it works out for the best. :))))))
