New Car

Yup. I've finally done it. Got a new car today. My old car just wasn't safe enough any more for the winter conditions. And I do like to drive safe. So let the snow and ice come now. :D

My new car is a 2002 Seat Ibiza Sport de Luxe edition in metallic blue. Lovely car. And it can go pretty fast. A huge update from what I had as well. It's got a lot

Yay for new car! It looks great :) I'm hoping it will prove itself reliable. My dad was very unhappy with the SEAT Ibiza he'd bought... but that was 15 years ago. :p

My Dad recommended it... and he knows a lot about cars. My brother also likes it, and he works with cars. So I'll see how it goes. So far, it's by much an improvement from my previous car, a 1996 Diahatsu. Plus, Seat uses the Volkswagen motors etc, and they are very good in my experience.

How is it going with a car for you? Any luck in convincing your dad just yet?

I was supposed to get my own car come the new year... and indeed my dad did visit a few car retailers he's been considering, but they've already withdrawn the Christmas offers they had made so the prices have gone up. He says he'll wait to see if there are any good offers in the horizon.

I'm pressuring as hard as I can, though. *g*

A good deal is important. Just wait till spring. You'll be able to get more for less then. At least, that's how it works here for second hand cars.

Ibizas are very reliable cars, dear. There are a lot around here :)
