Big Cats. Really Big.

We went to a local private big cat rescue on Saturday and played with a lion cub, a tiger cub, and a young panther. The rescue also has a 1-year old tiger and an adult tigress (all 200+ kilos of her). Here are some pix with the cubs. Wow, they're a lot bigger than I expected from "cubs". Really beautiful too. I envy you. :)

That makes me yearn for days of old - the 2001 Invitational where we visited with some cheetah cubs, and then a few weeks later when we visited a full-size cheetah sanctuary and tentatively stroked the adults.

Where exactly are you that they need a big cat rescue? And do they have bear rescues somewhere too? Hmm...
