you know, david, what you have started doing is very admirable. not many people (college students especially) dedicate their time or effort to help those who are not like them, or who need someone to call a friend. so, good job and even though the first convo. might be awkward, hang in there. you are "performing" an act of kindness and bettering yourself in a way that not many people will find the strength to do.
