I wish that I had gotten to know my biological grandfather better. I have no idea what he is like. He is not doing well and may pass very soon. I feel really bad. He has alshiermers and does not even remember me. Grandpa Ed, I wish you could have known me and I could have known you. I am sorry.

I have recently been wondering about religions, so I am taking many courses on them at UCLA. It seems to me that the best religions are the Eastern Religions (Hinduism and Buddhism- I consider Islam a Western religion based on its monotheism as well as its missionary ideals). As soon as I got my acceptance letter to UCLA, I was happy. When I arrived here I was happy. After a few days, that happiness fadded. I just do not feel at home here. So today, I went to math... and found that our "Review" that was to happen on Friday was not quite a review... it was a full on lecture. So today I called my Buddy. He was very nice, but the first thing he said to me made me a little on edge: "Your not my buddy Steve is my buddy." He repeated this. Steve was his old buddy.
