I'd like to be Michael Jordan (just kidding!) anonymous July 14 2007, 20:42:17 UTC
The basketball analogy is a good one because basketball (to me at least) embodies team sports more than anything else. Think about it, time and time again when we see a pro team playing poorly, what is happening? They aren't playing defense and on offense they just stand around, aren't passing the ball and just hurl up threes or drive to the hoop. I've always enjoyed players who can dish out assists and to me that stat is most like improv. Sure, maybe I know how to be funny...but do I know what you like to do in scenes and am I man enough to lob you an initiation that you can knock out of the park? I'd like to be like Magic johnson, who was very similar to bird but had that West Coast flair. He could play mutliple positions, was all defense, had steals and usually 6 or 7 assists a game and also could score but also knew when to dish it to Worthy.

So what would be free throws?
