there is this book entitled "the damn yankees guide to new orleans." c got it half-off (local's discount)! the book is not really for yankees; in fact, the store that was selling it touted that locals would open it up and read bits and pieces that would lead them to exclaim "I Did Not Know That!" at least 10 times
