Quick update

I am in Genoa at the moment, Berlin tomorrow. Leaving Crete was a stretch. Haventà been doing much blogging of late, writing on other things...

All going well,Iàm taking a short holiday before heading home to NZ at the end of Nov.

Doing plenty of reading, thinking, preparing for the next stage.

All is good.

Quick update:
Last week - Wednesday afternoon, at Raki Making barbeque, watching the grape pressings get fed into the raki still, drinking fresh warm raki, laughing and barbequing. Big party. Happiness

Today, drive to Thronos, dinner in taverna with Lampros, who brought over food, then sat down to eat it and drink raki. Happiness

Nuff said

I'm in the pretty little hill town of Spili, waiting for the 3pm bus which will have on it the contact lenses I have bought to replace the ones which haven't arrived from NZ.

The optometrist in Rethymno took down my details on Tuesday. 
Then I rang him and he ordered them frmo Athens - due in at 12.30 today. He'll put them on the bus for me, and I' ( Read more... )

Saturday night and Sunday morning is a back to back shift for me. So, finish shift at 9,30, start work at 6,30am. My roommate is ill with a fever, has been for 2 days. She sleeps all day. And was awake half the night. So I've been awake since 4,30 am. Definitely not in the mood to be asked to cover her evening shift.... Which I have done ( Read more... )
