So thanks to the Flixster application on Facebook, I've started to doubt my friendships with certain people. Sometimes, I think my opinions are so universal that I'm amazed when someone really likes a movie I have no interest in or that I hated, or when they hate or aren't interested in a movie I really like, haha

Fair enough. :) I didn't hate it...I just couldn't figure out what the big deal was supposed to be.

I will recognize it's masterful technical achievements while also saying that the plot and dialogue were fairly boring and uninspired. In my never-humble opinion. :)
